The Bar Manager is responsible for all of Mill Top’s alcohol service and execution. The Bar Manager reports directly to the owner. The primary goal of the Bar Manager is continually develop and grow the Mill Top’s bar service while delivering exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage alcohol service by maintaining storage areas and keeping bar areas clean and sanitized
- Train, schedule, and work with bartenders to delivery top tier service to guests
- Customize event’s bar package with clients while upselling specialty services for a unique experience
- Partner with other Mill Top staff about each event’s bar timeline, purchases, and client payments
- Supervise bar sales through accurate cash transactions and invoices in QuickBooks
- Maintain inventory levels in storage and QuickBooks, placing orders with licensed distributors before and after events
- Support Sales and Event teams with daily operations, such as tours, hiring, and event setup
- Guide growth of beverage options by identifying new trends, creating new drinks and menus, and researching new products
- Other duties as assigned by owner

The Mill Top is looking for enthusiastic bartenders for the upcoming event season! Our clients come to us to celebrate one of the happiest days of their lives. The bartender’s role is to keep the party going and maintain a safe environment for everyone.
Typical shifts will be 10 hours long on the weekend.
Responsibilities:
- Setting up the bar area
- Conducting beverage service
- Breaking down the bar area
- Use point of sales (POS) devices and accurately handle cash transactions
- Be proactive in maintaining or requesting supplies during service
Requirements:
- 21 years of age or older
- Carry and maintain an Indiana Alcohol permit and Servesafe Certification
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Strong customer relation skills
- Able to work as part of a team

The Mill Top is looking for an experienced, take-charge professional with the ability to support our Event Coordinators in preparing and implementing events.
The associate coordinator should have a love for special event management, provide outstanding customer service, be an enthusiastic professional, and be able to build relationships with staff and customers. Desired candidate is a team player, with a positive attitude, resourceful nature and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
Associates are responsible for anticipating project needs, discerning work priorities, and meeting deadlines with little supervision. Candidates must be willing to work weekends and late nights.
This job takes place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between vendors, guests, family, bridal party and Mill Top staff to ensure a smooth event
- Oversee the flow and execution of the timeline
- Help coordinators with getting the bridal party down the aisle
- Set up an event, which could include linens, decorations, napkin folding, etc.
- Change room arrangement between ceremony and reception
- Tear down and cleaning used spaces after an event
- Accomplish tasks for multiple projects and work assignments as directed by a variety of staff

The Mill Top is looking for a reliable individual with cleaning experience to help clean up the venue after events. Individual must be a team player yet able to work without constant supervision.
This job takes place on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Responsibilities:
- Sweep and mop floors
- Clean and restock bathrooms
- Empty all trash cans
- Clean Man Caves and Bridal Suites thoroughly
- Sanitize high-traffic areas and touchpoints throughout the building
Requirements:
- Arrive near the end of the event (between 9:30 pm and 11 pm depending on the time the event ends)
- Must be willing to work 3rd shift hours
- Flexible, as not every weekend is guaranteed

Mill Top is looking for a take charge professional preferably with set up experience in preparing and implementing events. Candidates must be able to work weekends, lift at least 50 pounds, have a flexible schedule, and be able to multitask with last-minute adjustments.
The Set-up Manager should have a love for special events and an eye for detail. Desired candidates must be able to follow directions, maintain a positive attitude, and solve problems.
Must be able to climb stairs, use ladders comfortably, and lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities:
- Set up spaces (tables, chairs, and lighting)
- Decorate event spaces
- Help with the upkeep of the building
- Anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision
- Accomplish tasks for multiple projects and work assignments as directed by a variety of staff
